On the farm

The recent spell of rainy weather has been affecting everyone, and is delaying our tattie lifting.  We still have five varieties to lift and will have to wait for a drier spell to get this done; patience is a virtue!  The wet weather is also causing some of our lovely cabbages to split, as they put on a sudden growth spurt.  Luckily, most of the crops are standing up well to the inclement weather.

If you would like to respond to the Scottish Governments’ climate change bill consultation, you have until this Friday to do so – you can find out more on the Nourish Scotland website.
